Recertification Service
A secondary market for networking systems has arisen due to an increased demand for previously owned equipment. Unfortunately, these 'used' products do not come equipped with certified warranties and the service and support availability that direct Foundry customers enjoy. When buying from a third party vendor, one assumes potential risks and does not qualify for Foundry's top rated service and support. For these reasons, all Foundry products should be purchased either from a Foundry sales representative or a certified reseller.
The Foundry Networks recertification program includes a complete and thorough test of all the equipment's vital components. With the recertification inspection, you will receive basic upgrades and repairs, along with the latest version of software applied to your equipment. With the highly trained technical team at Foundry Networks, you can rest assured that your investment is working to its fullest potential upon recertification. Following the inspection, you will be given a comprehensive report detailing the results of the inspection and any possible restoration that may be necessary.
Getting Foundry Networking products recertified is easy. Just follow the steps below:
- Submit the required information to Foundry by filling out the recertification Inspection Request form online. Be sure to select which level of TechNet Support you are most interested in for your Foundry equipment. (For more information on TechNet Support contracts, click here.)
- Once you've submitted your online request form, you will receive an email from a Foundry Support Contract Specialist that will include pricing information for the TechNet Support level you feel best suits your needs. You will also receive an email from a Foundry RMA Specialist with a quote for your recertification inspection fees.
- Upon submitting your payment information for the TechNet Support contract and inspection fees, you will receive an RMA number and shipping instructions to send your equipment to Foundry Networks.
- During the recertification inspection, if there are any additional repairs required to certify your equipment, a Foundry RMA Specialist will contact you to review your options.
- Once your equipment has passed inspection, it is certified and returned to you. Now you will have access to all the amenities available to you with your new TechNet Support Contract where you can maximize the returns of your networking investment.
