SAP® Certified Integration Status
Designed to maintain a strong strategic and technical relationship with SAP, Foundry's ServerIron® family of application delivery switches running TrafficWorks Release 10.x were rigorously tested to achieve SAP® Certified Integration for third-party networking appliances that interoperate with SAP business software solutions using an enterprise service-oriented architecture (enterprise SOA) and the SAP ERP 6.0 application on the SAP NetWeaver® 7.0 platform.
This Certification with SAP demonstrates Foundry's commitment to providing application delivery products and solutions that are industry leading in interoperability for enterprise customers. Foundry customers can be confident that their ServerIron application switches interoperate with their SAP solution-based environment while maintaining the powerful application switching, content management, security features, and uncompromising application benefits that the ServerIron family brings to an enterprise environment.
Certification was overseen by the SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) and conducted at the SAP Co-Innovation Lab in Palo Alto, Calif. SAP Certified Integration status of the ServerIron family was confirmed by the SAP ICC in the following certification categories:
- Performance – the ServerIron family offers increased performance due to application server CPU offloading effects.
- Reliability and Availability – the ServerIron family complements the SAP solution for high availability and thus helps to increase overall landscape reliability.
- Security – the ServerIron family provides security from Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack defense and the ability to offload SSL with performance benefits.
