ServerIron TrafficWorks Manager
The enhanced graphical user interface (GUI) offers better device management through two methods for configuration. The first is an industry-standard command line interface (CLI), which is extremely flexible and powerful. This option is particularly useful for network and systems managers who already understand CLI and need the additional power that it provides to configure complex Layer 4 and Layer 7 application and security policies. Another new feature of TrafficWorks is role-based management (RBM), which allows the creation of different administrative domains on ServerIron. Users can be assigned as operators, viewers, or managers for a given context or for global configurations. The RBM features are supported both in the CLI and the GUI.
